What are untradable assets?
Untradable assets are crypto that OKX doesn't support, and can't be traded. To learn more about how to withdraw your untradable assets, see What should I do if I accidentally deposit crypto that OKX does not support?
However, to improve our user experience, we support untradable asset withdrawals.
Note: There's no collaboration of any kind between OKX and any service provider for untradable assets that OKX hasn't supported. OKX shall not be responsible for any issue that may arise in relation to your untradable assets, and you should carefully manage such assets to avoid any losses.
Types of untradable assets
Crypto that OKX doesn't support
Crypto sent to networks that OKX doesn’t support
Crypto that has been or will be delisted from OKX
Airdrop crypto
Here are the details of these 4 types of untradable assets:
1. Crypto that OKX doesn’t support
OKX currently supports over 300 crypto, but there are still some crypto that OKX doesn’t support. You can always check the supported crypto on the Deposit page to confirm availability.
2. Crypto sent to networks that OKX doesn’t support
Each cryptocurrency can operate across multiple networks. However, we may not support all of them. If you deposit cryptocurrency through an unsupported network, the assets will be credited as untradable and can't be used or traded on our platform until resolved.
3. Crypto that'll be delisted from OKX
Crypto that'll be delisted from OKX refers to the crypto that OKX has ceased trading, but is still available for withdrawal. Once OKX ceases trading on a crypto, deposits of the crypto will be paused as well.
To maintain a healthy cryptocurrency ecosystem and enhance project liquidity, OKX continuously monitors listed cryptocurrencies, trading pairs, and futures. Based on market performance, user feedback, and potential risks, OKX may delist certain cryptocurrencies, trading pairs, or futures.
4. Airdrop crypto
For the airdrop crypto that don’t support trading, you can’t trade these crypto in OKX.
