The more I see the rise and push by corrupt governments to enslave people with digital I.D's the more I realise how good it is to have a @Tangem wallet.( Or similar )If you are going to die on a hill, this is the one. Resist digital I.D at all costs. $zbcn $shx $velo Tangem wallet is still safe if digital IDs are introduced, as it is designed to operate independently from online-based digital identity systems. Tangem stores private keys offline on the card's secure chip, which is not connected to a digital identity or the internet, making it immune to online ID-related attacks. The introduction of a digital ID would likely create a separate, potentially more secure system for online authentication, but it does not replace the hardware-based security of a cold storage wallet like Tangem, which secures digital assets.  How Tangem stays secure Offline storage:  The private keys are generated and stored directly on the physical card's chip, completely offline, making them immune to online malware or hacking attempts. Hardware-based security:  Tangem uses a secure chip (EAL6+ certified) that is protected from various physical and invasive attacks. No personal data:  The wallet does not collect personal data, nor does it run servers to conduct transactions. It is a self-contained device that only uses the blockchain to record transactions. Firmware security:  The firmware is not updatable, which prevents vulnerabilities from being introduced through a future update.  How digital IDs could interact with Tangem Separate systems:  A digital ID system is designed for online authentication, while a Tangem wallet is a cold storage solution for holding digital assets. They serve different purposes and operate on different principles.  Potential for multi-factor authentication:  A digital ID could potentially be used as a factor in a multi-factor authentication system for accessing a hot wallet or exchange. However, it would not be directly linked to or affect the private key stored on the Tangem wallet itself.  No connection to Tangem's keys:  Even if a digital ID were to be introduced, there would be no direct link between your digital ID and the private keys stored in your Tangem wallet, as the wallet doesn't rely on any online identity to function or store assets.
